Drifting, the motor-sport of using extreme oversteer to handle a car. Normally in a car with a forward engine and rwd.

This is an amazing sport! I've driven at Fuji speedway drift park 2x now and have tried normal racing in the mountains and drifting is by far one of the most fun things ever. The mountain roads here (touge) are like tracks every single one of them. Perfectly paved and great turns for the sport. Anyone else enjoy drifting as much as me? or even enjoy watching it?

Hell yeah, I love drifting. Well, I love watching it. I can't do it myself because I drive FWD. Although I have done some drifting in the snow with my dads AWD van, lol. Yeah I know thats easy mode.

Man, I would love to do some Touge racing in Japan. I live in the mountains in eastern US and we have some fun roads to drive but they are bad quality, rough and bumpy so they can be very dangerous.

Oh yeah Ken Blocks videos are pretty amazing. He goes friggen backwards through a corner its almost unheard of.

The closest thing I have seen to drifting is The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Thats the best part of drifting! It only looks dangerous, but because your sliding your car your almost always slower or you will spin out. Its safer then most motorsports (unless you drive in the mountains then you can fall off or smash into it >_>)
