Didn't get as high as I would've hoped. T_T. I ran the high, and got near the same score (whch was weird) but my screen doesn't even support that resolution, so it was all lopsided haha. Seems like I need to start upgrading my computer if I want to run it on a higher setting.

The last game I played on my laptop that didnt run on high everything was Vanguard. I had EVERYTHING on low and all I could do on it was craft, as I didnt really have to move around.

I think new games are getting to the point were laptop tops that are a few years old are no longer fast enough.

I agree mine is about 1.5 years old and my low score was 530. I wish my new one would ship already.

OWN: XPS 1640 - Intel C2D T9400 2.53 GHz - 4 GB - 16" 1080p - ATI MOB RAD HD 3670 512MB
320 GB HDD - 8X DVD RW - Intel 5100 Wireless-N - Dell Wireless 370 BT Internal

ORDERED: XPS 17 - Intel i7-740QM 1.73 GHz - 8 GB - 17.3" 900p - NV GF GT 445M 3GB
1 TB HDD - BD-Combo - Intel Centrino Adv-N + WiMAX 6250 - Dell BT 3.0

What's weird is <1k states you do not meet the reqs, but all my specs meet or beat the required specs. I am able to play at minimum settings with a little bit of sluggishness when turning.

Do low specs also cause PCs/NPCs to take forever to load or is that a server issue? Thanks.

PC/NPC loading issues can be caused by both lower end hardware, and server lag.

There are certain NPC problems (specifically certain low traffic areas (high end zones with no people), it may take up to a couple of minutes for the server to get in gear and load up your monsters (right on top of you, of course), though I haven't seen any friendly NPCs with that issue) that are solely server based. But on a good system, NPCs wont take more than 10 seconds to load. Even then, you have to be in a severely crowded area for that to happen. A great deal of the delay in loading is caused by the player's system, though not all.

I'm not sure what exactly you need to change around to get your environment to load faster. Reducing the setting all around will probably help, but I don't know if there is a special option that governs character generation.
Actions speak louder than words.
