Gran Turismo 5 has been in development for Sony's PS3 for over FIVE years now. The fans have always been told that the game is releasing soon, soon, soon...

Now, the time has come: The game has been released!

The E3 2010 trailer can be seen below:

The graphics are very impressive, near on photo-realistic at times. If anyone is lucky enough to own a 3DTV then you're in luck, as the game is 3D compatible.

Who here is a GT5 fan, and will you be one of the hundreds of thousands of people to be purchasing this game? (unless it flops, which I highly doubt!)

Well, I created this thread in June and there was zero interest whatsoever! But with the game launching tomorrow I thought I'd edit the title and give it a bit of a bump!

Who's going to be revving their engines tomorrow?

I must have missed this when you first posted it Kurisu. I am a HUGE fan of the GT series. I have played them all up to now and got many hundreds of hours worth of enjoyment from them. We used to take turns doing laps in the endurance races, racing for hours on end.

I'm not sure I'll be getting the game this time though. Unfortunately my gaming days are so limited nowadays. The single bachelor lifestyle is now the married father lifestyle and that means when I come home from work I have to babysit and cook dinner. Since I work late, that usually leaves me a window from about 9:30 to 11 where I can do something, but most of the time my wife wants to watch some tv or I have other "chores" to do, so it's really hard to find time.

The game looks amazing though! hmm... maybe I can make some time! lol

I never really search so I never really knew this thread existed. Plus I decided not to get the game until I get an HDTV so no reason for me to search. Yet I'm excited about getting my hands on the game sometime in the future.

I'm not a racing sim fan! I'm more in to more arcadey stuff, like Burnout. Takedown on PS2 was amazing! Currently I've got my eyes on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

Saying that, GT5 is still tempting me! I really don't know why. I bought Prologue and it bore the hell out of me!
