Ooh very nice, I like! I wonder why all Culinarians wear those super hero masks though.

Nice addition. 3 new disciples of the hand. Now I don't know if ill be a blacksmith or a goldsmith. goldsmiths bend more to amulets right? I guess its wouldnt be so on demand then since accessories arent as needed as armor or weapons but just for the fact that Ive never seen goldsmiths in any other game makes me wanna try it. :onion46:

Very nice. I wonder how the gear for disciples of the land/hand work as far as stats or bonuses. I'm guessing that's also the reason for the masks. The NPC culinarian in the Life in Eorzea video didn't have one. Love the picture of the Miqote pugilist.

There were goldsmiths in FFXI. Don't know if you ever played that though. WoW has jewelcrafters that focused on those types of items. Usually those types of items are in high demand because the way to get them is either sacrifice your tradeskills (which is usually limited to one type) or to get them as drops. Which are usually BoP. Don't know how well that will work for FFXIV but it's usually a good money maker.

I wondered how the weaver was going to collect the materials - harvester answers that question :)

I love player co-dependency or at least that's how I hope it works out, someone could even just focus on crafting/gathering and not fight too if that's their wish, pretty cool!

Same here! I was really set on being a Marauder, but after seeing that mass of armour...it kind of puts me off. I'm thinking more along the lines of Gladiator now! Or Lancer. Maybe Pugilist...

The Disiples of the Land and Hand don't really interest me, but it's nice to have more diversity.

Thanks for adding all the renders, Eorzea!

I'm excited to see some more gathering type jobs. I hope to see S.E put a limit on how many crafting type jobs you can craft. That way, at some point you'll need to ask a friend to craft you gear or items.

I agree with this, actually. Some people wish to master everything, but I would prefer there be a limit so that one must interact with others in order to get the things they need. It makes for a better communal experience IMO (which is what MMORPGs are all about!). ;)

Wow looks like this will be quite the MMO. An armourer seems like a nice job to play as.

Hey welcome to the forums Soul! An yeah armourer seems like a nice job. Im planning to level it with gladiator to be able to repair my armor on the go.
