With this idea of job swapping with weapon choice, what happens to our armour?

Will we be stuck using typical cloth? Do we have to change our armour along with our weapons? Or can we wear any armour, except with penalties? Or will working on gladiator/Conj mean we can be a magic user that can wear heavy armour?

I was browsing through the screenshot on the offical website and saw one of someone in what looked like leather/re-inforced leather casting magic. This made me wonder.

Well I can offer pure sepculation but I think that if your leveling a gladiator and have conjurer leveld also then yes youd be able to wear whatever armor a gladiator wear. If you switch to conjurer though and are using gladiator skills then I think that you'd be stuck wearing whatever a conjurer can wear only. I could be totally wrong, but it seems like this is how it would work anyways.

Maybe the leater wearing magic catser was a DoW job with skills (like cure) from a previously leveld mage job.
