I didn't watch the video originally posted, however to address some comparisons, I must say I simply enjoy the creativity Squaresoft uses for FFXIV, especially as far as the names of cities and regions thus far.

WoW I have very little experience with, aside from a brief Beta testing experience, during which I found it to be a bit too visually stimulating - colorful. The names used for regions were also a bit quirky - irritatingly silly at times.

I.E.,

"Darnassus" can be pronounced "Darn Asses," and so on.
