Not that it matters for those not participating in beta, but it's still an interesting tidbit of news. Perhaps it's a sign that Square Enix is finally working out the kinks in server stability?

i agree that server issues are probably for the most part solved it also means they may add more content to be tested.

I finally got into Beta after deleteing WoW from my hard-drive it began to work...odd...but very excited about the character creation. I'm gonna spend another hour figuring out how I want my LaLafell to look. But yes the servers seemed to have no issues as far as dropping me etc.

I think we have more chance now they are 24/7. They couldnt choose people who did tick that they couldnt play in times they had planned for the intial beta test times....*she tells herself*

Yea but being one of the many people who signed up for the "PS3 Beta", I know my chances of getting any kind of game time in before the release date are slim to none. I knew my PC couldn't handle the game when I first heard about it so I saw the PS3 beta as a great opportunity to experience Eorzea first-hand. Here's hoping that they at least try to run a PS3 Beta in the time between the PC release date and the PS3 release date (if not move up the PS3 release date), otherwise why even let people sign up for it in the first place?

My fingers are crossed with you. Square Enix did say that "We may not make it in time for phase 1 of the beta, but around phase 2 of the beta we believe we will be able to support PS3." Then again, I believe that was before the whole push back fiasco, right? I'm guessing if PS3 is involved at all then there will be some news released about it in a few weeks. I mean, the game launches in less than 2 months...if we don't hear anything about a PS3 Beta soon, then it's retail only for us ;_:

I have decided if I get into Beta, I will not join in.


Sadly as it is accounts chosen for Beta I won;t be able to give away the opportunity to another.

I guess I just want to experience the real, persistent Eorzea only. I have participated in many Betas and it lessens the impact of your first Character as it feels more like a reincarnation, then a newly born hero.

Odd I know...

But maybe I just tell myself that as I am not in the Beta ^^

Wonder if anyone can help me with something.

I went into my Square Enix account I used when I applied for Beta (took me months to find it) and it says nothing in there about having an application in. This is making me wonder = Do i have one?

Can anyone else log into theirs and check if it mentions anything, especially those in the UK?

I logged into my Squenix account, and nope there is nothing about my aplication either, i guess it is/was the same for everyone untill we get the Beta access. If not pls someone drop a line ^^

Ok, thanks I feel better now. I did notice a slot for in putting a beta key code.

Still be nice to see it as entered or something.

It's official FFXIV is allergic to WoW....
