I was debating whether or not to post this topic earlier today, but I guess the more we have to discuss the better, right? :cool:

gametrailers.com recently posted a "pop-block" with commentary regarding the things seen in the E3 trailer and how they compare to FFXI/etc. Nothing new, really, but it's always fun to hear things from another perspective/viewpoint.

I find that kind of funny considering it is by far the most interesting and my most anticipated game out of E3. <_<

For some reason it never occurred to me that the giant 'chinese dragon' was actually just leviathan. How did I not see that? Oh well, I can always hope that there are chinese dragons.

Leviathon looks different all the time, so it could be something else. I think the monster in the trailer is a boss of some sort.. Or maybe when 'he' appears, dozens of sea critters come onto the ship and attack.

No reason for you to be disappointed.. The fact that you liked the way it looked means that you'll probably enjoy other monster designs, too.

It actually got me thinking about the chocobo. Maybe he acts as a caravan carrier that stays at the beginning of "dungeons" when you're on a quest with your guildleves. Thus allowing you and your team to each look at your respective optional inventory choices and decide who's gonna be what, with the armory system that could actually be.

We haven't really heard word about that since 'we're looking into using chocobos in a different way' from mid last year.

From the sole chocobo shot, it does look like he's carrying a load.. He's wearing a saddle, but there's not enough room for the 3 party members also in the shot.
