Five Six additional servers have been added to the open beta test (and will therefore transfer over when the game is released). There are now 15 16 17 servers total, the "new" ones in bold:

Melmond
Mysidia
Palamecia
Rabanastre

Selbina

Wutai


No doubt this will cause some people to reevaluate their server decision.

I am extremely happy they added a server named after FFXII. That is most likely where I will end up playing.

I foresee "Selbina" being very popular. -_-

I like Gysahl and Besaid.

I think we need to put this to a vote for BV's official server though.

Selbina feels like the server that Final Fantasy XI players will end up who did not know too much about Final Fantasy games previously. The "safety" server...

I don't know how I feel about this!

Lindblum would probably be my personal pick, due to my love of IX. Though I would be willing to go with another server if Beyond Vanadiel adopted one.

Oh? Did you join for the roleplaying or is that simply coincidence?

As for myself, I will probably go wherever the majority of our staff members end up. As of now it seems Lindblum is in the lead, but we shall see. I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing to have some of us on separate servers, though. It adds a healthy diversity. ;)

If BV did pick a server, we'd need to decide soon, and definitely before the 22nd.

Same thing if we don't pick a server. I just want to be able to have a server lined up and be able to relay the choice to my friends that want to join up with me.
