I am having the same problem. I downloaded the installer several times, unitnstalled and reinstalled serveral times, and the results are always the same. I click the client icon on my desktop, it opens what would appear to be a blank command-prompt window, then another window comes up saying the program has stopped working.
I am running this on Windows 7. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't have much to say other then I won't install any games in Program Files on Windows 7 as it causes some of my games not to work properly. Always install in another directory.
If you have done this, I don't know ;P The game did just crash on my but I was playing for minutes prior.

I couldn't get the game to install until i updated my video card drivers. not sure why this would stop the beta from downloading, but sure enough after I installed the updated drivers it started downloading.

I resolved my issue by updating my video card driver and installing a framework update. After that, I didnt have too much issue.

I crash a lot, and have problems of lag. The program got installed in "program files (x86)
The amount showed up by "S" is just fine, but the "R" just jumps from a few hondred to thousand and then to 0, during combat this sucks coz, when "R" starts showing some activity, me or my playmates their health are quite a chunk lower all of a sudden, following to death in the worse case scenario.
I'm transfering the all thing to C--> Users--> Public (where i made a folder named "Games"). I will be editing this post if my case seems to change to better, or worse
Edit: Not a single crash the whole evening. Latency swinged a bit up and down, but i got the feeling that it made less of a problem, or none at all to be honest.
