How the hell do you craft once you have bought an equipped the tool?

1) Best way to start crafting is by getting the local leves, you can have up to 8 of them. once you get them, you need to equip the appropriate tools.
2)Then go into the main menu and you should see the synthesis option, click on that.
3)Your Character will go down on one Knee and a new menu will appear for the synthesis. To access the local leves that you selected you click on the Request button at the top of the menu, this will give you a list.
4)Select the leve, the ingredients will show up. Then decide on main or off hand. I haven't read anything about how to chose between the two, but for leves, main hand is a safe bet.
Btw with the local leves, they will give you the ingredients so you don't have to collect them. However you have to check the info to see if they give them to you right away. If they didn't you have to go to the npc, to whom you will have to give the requested items for the ingredients.
For making your items check the different websites for recipes
