In an effort to get these forum sections off to a good start, I will be posing the same question in all server forum sections.

To those of you who have chosen to make Selbina your home, what was/were your reason(s) for doing so?

• A memorable experience with its corresponding game?
  
• Some sort of special connection/interest to the location?
  
• It's where your friends and/or linkshell decided to play?
  
• You think the name sounds best?

Please elaborate a bit if possible.

I played FFXI from release until FFXIV. I figured Selbina was the "proper" home as it was the FFXI name.
