I read the new chapters on Mangastream.com which updates with nly high quality scans. The down side is they only keep manga up long enough till its availible in stores. Same for me, 200 came out a few days ago but Mangastream put up 201 this morning. It's a really good HQ mang provider =D and they do all the popular mangas like Naruto, Bleach, One piece, Reborn!, D-Grayman, Soul Eater and a few more...

I clicked Fairy Tail when it came out, synopsis sounding interesting but there are certain types of drawing style I do not like, so thats the first thing I look for.

After that I stay away from animes with characters in that are/look under 15 as they tend to be boring or to cutesy with their stars and rainbows and soundtrack sang by 5 year olds

I think I watched up to the 4 episode.

I agree Saeryne, the drawing style is something I don't particually like in the anime. I with the animtion was on level with the Soul Eaters anime.. that looks great (though I only watched 7 episodes.. really want to watch the rest if I can). Atleast the characters are 17+ (and I think Natsu is over 80 apparently >_>)

I thought the anime was quite funnier than the manga... but. Where is all the blood?!?! I feel like 4kids got a hold of it and gutted all the substance from the fights

I prefer anime in the style of (tv series) Vampire Diaries (EDIT: ARGH diaries! I mean Vampire Knight! LOL)and Hakuouki (love feudal japan animes) and cant find enough of them!

Ah yes, Chapter 201 was on the site I read off of too. Just took a few more hours for them to upload it. This arc defiantly seems interesting. Who is this mysterious boy? I bet he ends up joining Fairy Tail. Hopefully no one dies in this arc. But who knows, Cana may just be leaving us this arc...

I really hope not xD We've lost two S-Rank members already, We can't lose Cana aswell! I really hope that it is Cana that is made S-Rank. Though I really don't see why Levy is there xD I would have much rather Visca or Arzak be in her place. And I already thought that Lluvia was already classed as S-Rank, as when she first joined there was a Diagram that had her listed a s-rank... Bah oh well. I'm surprised she's gone back to her old outfit+hair.


With what Charle saw, I'm very interested in why Cana was crying like that~ I'm guessing someone may have died. and I wonder why she was asking about Lucy's father? perhaps thats the reason for her drinking problem?

Everything about this new arc seems great.. this new person.. He's prob another dragon slayer >_>

Alright, so I've watched all the 47 episodes that are out up to now and... I like it.

As I said earlier, the animation was really underwelming compared to other animes out there and the constant use of the same scenes over and over again annoyed me. Fight scenes weren't very spectacular either and the only character that looked like they should, from the manga, was Happy.

after the first so many episodes, I think it was actually as it got it's second opening, the animation quality improved alot and characters started to look as they should! One example as to how far of the first few episodes where in the appearence of characters is that the character Max shows up in the guild (as a back ground face, as he is in the manga) but they changed his hair colour and altered his hair style slightly. Then, in a much later episode (when Fairytail gets a gift shop), he shows up again looking like he should and they tried to make out that he had never appeared before cause he looked so different. Bah anyway!

The anime gets alot better, characters start looking as they should and the overall quality gets better. the fight scenes are more enjoyable to watch and they stick to the story! they rarely add anything that wasn't in the manga, except for that mushroom episode and some scenes of Cana using her magic (even though she hasn't been seen using her magic once in the manga and may be totally off the mark xD) I don't understand why they told the story of Natsu and the egg so early, when if they had stayed true with the manga, it would have been told in ep 45/46.. ah well

Im really enjoying the anime now. though they did kinda ruin Mistgun's identity before the big unveiling =[ I'll carry on watching and enjoying =D
