Hey all, just wanted to say hi. I have been lurking around here for a bit since I found this site while browsing for FF XIV news. You all seem like a great bunch of people so far, and if a server can be decided upon I would really enjoy exploring this new game with you all. A little about myself, I'm 22, living in Alberta, Canada. Im pleased to see quite a few other canucks roaming around here. I've had a fair experience with mmo's including everquest 2, aion, AoC, City Of Heroes, and WoW. Im currently playing FFXIV beta as well as some starcraft 2. Can't wait to get to know you all, and can't wait for retail launch.

Eorzea -> I really enjoyed WoW up until about 6 months ago, I dont know I just kind of hit that wall where I had done it all, seen it all. I have 4 80's, a bunch of 60's and farmed enough gold I could retire in RL if I ever sold it all lol. It was a good game, but after a while it just started to feel recycled. I also really enjoyed Aion, I love pvp, so the open world free for all was a dream come true for me. Really the only reason I stopped playing that game is I ended up falling way to far behind my legion/friends and couldn't seem to catch up. Not to mention by the time I did they had all quit playing.

I'm really hoping FF14 is going to be my new game for the next 4 years like WoW was before it. What was your favourite MMO experience?

Hello Everyone,
I thought it would be fitting to post under this topic because I am also from Alberta, Canada

I have been looking around the site for about a week now and was really interested in what I was seeing and thought i should register.

A bit about myself:
I am 21 years old and going to school to become an EMT. Due to the large amounts of time spent on school i do not get a lot of time to play but i try to sneak on in the evenings before bed for a couple hours. I just started the beta and made a character on the Rabanastre server but what wondering what other servers people may be on and i will join up on there (Trabia?). Looking forward to meeting some people in game (especially the Canadians) and trying out FFXIV.

Past MMO experience:
FFXIV is my first Beta experience and I am having a lot of fun. I have also played FFXI, EQ 1 and 2, WoW, Aion, WAR, and LotRO.

I am currently trying to decide what race i want to play. In FFXI i was a tarutaru but i am thinking about making a change. However, as for jobs/classes i currently am having a lot of fun with Lancer and Conjurer.

Anyway, I should quit blabbering. Hope to see all of you in game.
