Hi there,

Please don't let me SN fool you. I'm far from thinking I'm a know-it-all. That's just my initials and I think it's funny. I am married, and my husband and I are currently expecting our first child (although we're not due until March).

I played FFXI for a long time, but eventually gave it up. I'm looking forward to FFXIV because it sounds like it's going to be a good time. I think the armory system sounds really interesting and I'm looking forward to another dynamic game from SE. It also sounds like they've changed some of the things I didn't like about FFXI, so I'll be interested to see how that all plays out.

I look forward to getting to know you all on the forums and maybe seeing you in the game.

I was a dragoon/thf for the most part in FFXI. I also enjoyed black mage. I stopped playing before a lot of the new classes hit, although I did attend Fan Festival 2006. I have to say that corsair looked quite interesting and I was sorry that I never got to try it out.

As for what looks most appealing for FFXIV, I'm having a lot of trouble choosing. I'm leaning toward conjurer at the moment, but I'd really like a physical class as well and I'm not sure which one to choose. I have a thing for archers, but I never did like ranger in XI, so I'm sort of leaning away from that here. I'm not sure how I'd feel about being a lancer without my dragon (the dragon being the main reason I picked dragoon as a class in XI). I might just go marauder and hit things a lot.

To be honest, what I'm really looking forward to is crafters as a class. I'm very interested in the changes they've made to the crafting system and I'm really looking forward to playing around with it.

As for watching out for walking around with no pants, I didn't realize that was a bad thing. We rarely wear pants in this house. Although I suppose we'll have to change that once the baby starts being coherent, but there's at least another year and half on that.
