So the 4th movie in the installment has just recently come out. Resident Evil: Afterlife. I use to be a huge fan of the story, that the games had. But with the movies it's way off of that story. But I have seen all the other ones, and I even own them all. So I will be seeing this sometime in the next few weeks. I am looking forward to a few recognizable characters returning. Such as Chris and Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine and Wesker. At least this is what I have heard or read. And with 'the worlds most advance 3D technology' it has to be good right? Although 3D loses it's touch halfway through the movie for me.

Here is a trailer:

As for the Resident Evil movies, my favorite is Degeneration by far. It is the only one that stays true to the game.

I'll give you my verdict on the movie after I see it.

Wesker does look alot like the Wesker from 5, so that is pretty awesome. I heard the third one was pretty decent

I thought the third one was the best, but I look forward to seeing this one as well. I'll report back once I have had a chance to see it.

I had to agree here. In the first/second film he looked to much like a fat lawyer trying to look hip.

This films seems like it will be more like RE5 with plagas and that large guy with teh bag over his head and the hammer (Executioner).

Looking forward to it.. kinda. (scared in RE5 and wouldnt play it alone)

I was surprisingly impressed with this movie. I have been getting disappointed with the series but glad to see it go back to the roots a little bit. You can defiantly see some similarities with RE:5, which is really nice to see. So besides the odd Matrix rip off in the movie, I really enjoyed it. The fight with the executioner was awesome. And the ending, well I won't spoil it, but, it should be interesting how the next movie will start.
