I thought there was a topic on this already [ did a search, but it yielded no results ] anyway for those of you who are interested Dance Dance Revolution will be releasing a new installment for 360, Wii and finally PS3!

Just as an added note most of this information is for the PS3 version, I mainly chose this because for one it's new and hasn't been on it yet so the information would be nice to know. Two it's pretty much the information I was looking at the most, will edit in more information later as well as I find it.

DanceDanceRevolution for PS3, players will find the game offers much more than following the arrows with their feet. In this iteration of DanceDanceRevolution, players will use both their hands and feet simultaneously, via PlayStation Move and controller mat, providing the most rhythmic and realistic dancing yet! This feature makes for a truly interactive dance experience Additionally, compatibility with the PlayStation® EYE allows the player and their dance to appear on-screen. Players can bring their creativity to full potential by uploading the recorded dance video online and throughout social media networks. The recorded video can be uploaded on YouTube and Facebook through the Video Editor & Uploader of the PlayStation®3 to share with their friends and other DanceDanceRevolution fans.
Never short on a wide variety of great tunes, DanceDanceRevolution for the PS3 comes packaged with more than 30 all-new original songs by Konami's original artists and licensed tracks from some of today's hottest musicians. The music never has to stop, becase now players can download new songs and add them through the PlayStation®Network. The game offers two all-new gameplay modes - Dance Off and Club Mode. The Dance Off Mode is similar to a dance battle between players where they take turns to play. The player who was able to step and dance more accurately will gain more points and will be the winner. The Club Mode is geared more toward hardcore DanceDanceRevolution fans where the player can play songs consecutively. The difficulty level varies depending on how well the player is dancing and several different gimmicks appear as wel. Players can dance from 4 to 20 songs consecutively in this mode. If the player changes the options to non-stop, they can keep dancing until their gauge is empty! The game also features a high-difficulty level - the Challenge Level - for the experienced player where there are not only just up, down, right and left arrows but with 4 diagonal arrows as well making it the ultimate challenge!

Trailer:

Game Play [PS3]

Not to sure, but I think someone one on the forum stated it would have online play - As of right now that is the only thing really making me want to continue with my pre-order.

Certainly looks interesting!

Only thing I want to see is someone dancing and following the screen prompts. I am uncertain that those two are dancing along.

I edit the original post to imbed the youtube video ^^

This actually looks pretty good! I like how they're implementing it with PlayStation Move, that should make it a much more immersive experience. I just looked on play.com and GAME.co.uk and as of yet the PS3 or 360 version isn't actually listed (only the Wii version is up). If the game is out in time for Christmas then I think I'll buy it for my little sister and have a sneaky go myself!. I most definitely WON'T be uploading my footage on to youtube, though

There are some dance videos of people dancing and to be honest it looks a bit lagged I'll try to find them and edit it in to my first post.

From what I read on the forum I heard that it was to come out 5 months after it came out in the U.S or something

So Myst, what's the verdict? Did you decide to get DDR or no?! Here's a review of the game: Oh hai, I'm a review. Doesn't exactly praise the game :/

Oh yeah I have the game I kept the pre-order. A step back from what I'm used to and what I've seen of current models. Forced Club and weak initial songs I'd give it a C as well.
