I got a real serious problem... the game wont launch. It doesn't say not compatible or anything is outdated. I have installed the game 4 times and un-installed 3 times now. As I double click on the icon a little black window pops up and without loading anything it says "final fantasy 14 has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution to the problem" then goes right to "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" this is my 1st encounter with this problem... any suggestions? Just FYI, I contacted SE about it and posted on their forum and got no replies.I just wanna play
and sorry for the all caps title, i'm just really annoyed and irritated.

I just done a quick Google search about this problem, and it seems that someone else was having the same problem as you (but in Beta, not in actual retail).

I'm no tech wizz but I'm guessing that you need to update your video drivers. I'm afraid I'm going to have to leave it at that as I'm running in to unknown territory!

Every time I try to boot it up I end up getting a small black window and then an error message pops up.
Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a way to fix it?

- Upgrade your video card drivers
- What video card do you have and are you sure you have the latest drivers?
- This is a common problem. Update your video drivers.

PC gaming at it's finest.
But yeah, updating drivers often fixes ridiculous errors... Good luck, friend!
