It's already starting to feel like loldrg all over again. Anyone else planning on lvling lancer or who loves this class?

Dunno, but love lancer so far. I can't wait till I get more abilities. Going to be fun to do crowd control.

I just had to look up what loldrg meant xD I...lol'd! If Lancers are as "useless" as Dragoons then maybe I won't level this class after all! (luckily all classes are available for use in FFXIV, so I could at least give it a shot)

If being the only job in the game with haste is "lol" then sign me up.... besides... last time I checked.... people in FFXI were still using drain samba.... Obviously you have no clue what your doing and your just making us real lancers look bad.

Yes, I think you will find it to be a mighty powerful/useful class as you continue to level and utilize support skills from other classes to complement its effectiveness. I love the Lancer class!

Lancers have the highest melee attack power for single target damage hands down, you may think marauder beats them, but in fact Marauders are AoE focused and have spices of Tank. Lancers have been the most powerful Damage Dealer DoW I have played (which is all of them but Archer, which im sure is equal or greater).

Besides, Its not anyone EVER used trick attack in FFXI(FFXIV:Collusion)..... There are just so many awsome skills for Lancers I cant even begin to think how anyone could ever think they wouldnt be usefull.

P.S. Lancers are AoE to a degree as well.. Its just a different kind of AoE, somewhat simmilar to how Theurg is AoE (Many lancer skills will hit multiple mobs)

Lancer get some sick skills, but due to my low acc and hp my ls has decided to start the loldrg stigma on me. BTW, in FFXI DRG was some of the best melee with some fairly diverse moves. Its just they were gimped in the first year due to being ungodly powerful lol (ie penta thrust pre-tp nerf)

Yes Dyft but no DoW class can touch Marauder in any degree with AoE xD Skewer is one of my favorite attacks and Ferocity is amazing! Speed Surge is so powerful only lancers can use it hehe

I just wanted to point out that we had some AoE, of course the murader does it better though.

What is your VIT at? Honestly, if it's less than 40 that's a good start, if 40 is still low go 60, if hp is the problem than add VIT

I want to add that I think Lancer is the one of the cooler, if not the coolest looking class in appearance.

As the game promotes multitasking, I'll probably second as a Lancer or something.
