I am currently a level 11 weaver and was able to purchase a bronze needle (rank 7) and iron needle (rank 22). My question is am I hurting myself by using the iron needle vs. the bronze needle because the iron needle's rank is so much higher then where I am at currently? I haven't quite figured out the whole weapon rank piece yet.

I can not say as i'm only using the bronze needle at lvl 11 still but i was told on another thread that optimal level is at which point it is best to use, not necessarily only use. I would equip the bronze needle and note where your crafting stats are at, then equip your iron needle and see if your crafting stats have gone up. If they have not gone up then i'd stick with the bronze as it is what you are suppose to be using at that level but if your stats go up with Iron needle, then you should technically have more success (if your doing the same recipies) with the iron needle over bronze.
