The SP system is pretty weird still. I'm trying to make sense of it.. It seems you get an SP boost once your in a party but on certain mobs that sp boost is nonexistent even though it should be there. Like I fought Hippos with 5 yesterday, made nice sp. Then we went to the tam tarum cellar in gridania area, south of it. We fought the red rabbits in there, which are a higher level mob and were much more difficult to kill. We got like 140 sp..lol..
But the easier hippos we got 200ish SP.. Then we tried an eft in there and we got 335 sp, it killed most of us..lol.. We also tried those Antilope stags near the hippos in Coerthas, east of dragonhead and it was like fighting a boss NM, dam near one shot killed our tank and took half my MP from max.
It gave us garbage SP in comparison to the hippos which were lower level and much easier.
Tried the puks in Tam tarum and they were about the same as the rabbits, a little less. But the rabbits should of been more than the hippos. So it's making it hard to say "ok these mobs are this level we should go kill them, cause that's what we should be fighting"
It's not working in a way that makes much constant sense.so creating a leveling guide is going to be a real pain in the arse.
Anyone know where to party at R 30ish?

PS. I made this as a new topic because I felt it needs one and will be getting revised as I go along. It's about one thing, not the entire patch. Also the patch topic is not in the general section which makes it harder for people to find.

I am nearly 34. I gained 32.5 to 5k off 34 in one day.

Some R30 leves that were linked gave me 766sp per mob. Whilst normal mobs during SP group gave from 100-300 depending on what it was. The inprovement rate is amazing.

My first day back I went right into a behest. Sp changed from 50sp to 125 per mob. I then went straight into a leve group which then turned into an SP group and we were together a total of over 4 hours.

This is what has been sorely lacking in game for me.

My Sp group went to Mistbeard Cove.. no idea where it was but we did port to Bald Knoll.

Now it they would only fix the CON spell casting. Still doing my head in...

You mean how the animations keep getting kind of stuck? lol..
Yea I'm much happier with the sp now. It still needs work though. Needs to make sense in a way we can make a reliable leveling guide. As of now you can't look at the level of a mob and figure out if it'd be good to SP on and that is making things extremely difficult. Looks like post 30 the best camp will be efts either in The tam tarum cellar or Camp Nine Ives east of Gridania.

Linking Nanawa leves ftw.. If your bored head over to nanawa with a full shot of leves and have another full shot for nohpica. You can end up with a solid link party just going there and shouting pretty much whenever. We got like 7 last night and I ended up making crazy SP. Just by going to nanawa with full leves and asking if people wanted to link.
Always good to build a pt in town of course but u can always just show up if u cant find one.

Yes, I was getting over 700sp at times. I am just getting bored of Uldah and its desert. I tried r40 but I was only getting around 150sp so back I go.

So the R40 leves linked aren't as good as the r30's levs linked?
I just got r 34 last night so I'll be able to hop on some 40's with ya soon.
