It said: "due to continued declines in the music genre, the company will disband Activision Publishing's Guitar Hero business unit and discontinue development on its Guitar Hero game for 2011."

Activision said: "These decisions are based on the desire to focus on the greatest opportunities that the company currently has to create the world’s best interactive entertainment experiences."

Oh lord here it goes...

They could have just published it all in track packs [similar to rock band] or just put all the talent into DLC rather than trying to always bring out a new one every year and on almost every system.

I went the RB route anyway so doesn't really affect me.

I agree, it doesn't affect me in the slightest, but they should have made a song store, just like Sony has done for the SingStar franchise (Sing Store).

Yeah they could have and probably should have. This negates any attempt at DLC they will have for the game to? Or no?
