[Eorzea]

This site was buzzing with activity prior to FFXIV's release, but over the past few months almost all activity has come to a halt. Sure, The Lodestone now has an official forum, but I believe the bigger issue is the overall disappointment in FFXIV. A large majority of people (including just about all of our staff/members) lost interest within months after starting back in September/October. I managed to hold on for a while, but even I got quite bored and fed up before too long.

I'm still hoping the game will turn a corner and that the PS3 release will be a revival of sorts, but until that time I don't see much promise among communities such as ours.

That being said, I do intend to keep the site running and updated from time to time. Once the game further establishes itself I will reexamine the goals and direction we take.

Anyway, that's all. I hope everyone is doing well.

I'm buying a new pc in a week or two so hopefully I can add you as a friend if you get Guildwars2~ which I will definately be getting =D

As for this community... I miss everyone D: I still speak to Hugbees on a regular basis, but I wish this community could have kept it's activity =[

it is sad to see the site so slow. Sorry, I don't even have intentions on ever getting the game anymore. It's going to be a busy year for me this year...

It's a shame that the site has become so unactive. It had real potential, but the bad reception of the game has basically ruined any chances of us gaining popularity. Even the almighty Tweets don't really bring any activity (but they do increase traffic slightly). What with that and the "competition" of the other FFXIV sites that beat us to the web...I don't think the future bodes well I have to say that my activity has been slack lately, but that's due to having so much uni work on mny plate. Now that that's over I have more time to post here. I'll continue to make topics etc...for now. But they never really seem to get much attention, so sometimes it seems like a bit of a waste (not having a go here!).

So it's been a year (Almost dead on) since my post here, and it has been a busy year for me, and starting next month, after I move one last time for a long time, I will have more time. And if FFXIV ever comes to PS3, I might have intentions of getting it.

How to get this site as busy as it once use to be? That is what I want to know. Remember the good ol days? I do, it was almost 3 years ago now, but it feels just like yesterday. I remember it well, I'd come home from work and log on right away. Excitement running through my veins to see the latest screenshot or render. To get the latest news on classes or races or gameplay, awaiting release info. Ah the good ol days, maybe one day, we'll be back in our prime.

You know what'll make this place active again? 2.0. It's more or less a brand new game.. the game they should have released. And we all need to play it!
