Do you think there will be any additional events prior to the next big patch that is released? Perhaps some sort of summer festival?

The Hatching-tide event was a huge step in the right direction (IMO) and much more fun/involved than what they did for Christmas/etc. My expectations for future events have risen a bit.

But yea, who knows. The 7th Umbral Age is supposed to be coming. That just begs to be tied to some kind of big game changing event.

Gheghegheghe, as anounced by Mister Naoki Yoshida, the next BIG patch will be during midsummer "me copy/past" * mid-June at the earliest* it could be a bit later of sooner but i dont think noone wants them to rush them again to try to deliver something that is not ready... anyway, that would be the date THAT would make monthly subscriptions go on, so i would not be surprised if they have something special in petto. Of course i would not be surprised either if they dont, though it would be nice ^^
Me wants, CHOCOBO MOUNTS!!!!!!! for faster traveling <.< (though being a "realist" as i am, that prolly will never happen).
