Last night I finally completed Operation: Nihongo Dawn. By applying equal amounts of patience, Robotic Lunch mp3's, and 100% pure awesome (without the pulp) I was able to finish one of the most ambitious nerd-olutionary projects of our time. 216 ordinary playing cards transformed into 216 Japanese 'Flash Cards.' Their purpose? To aide in my intellectual pursuit of Japanese fluency. To give hope to a romantic linguist who may or may not be slightly smitten with a Japanese acquiantance. And to cheat at card games knowing that the Ace of Spades is: "Sumimasen, moo ikanakutewa ikemasen."
