(I have a suggestion for the thread, or a request really. If it's not too much trouble for everyone, would you put hiragana versions beneath your Japanese posts? For me it'd definitely be a big help toward connecting the dots from vocab to kanji. I'll also be able to look up words I'm not familiar with. Yay? Nay?)

OK, sure. I have updated my posts with hiragana/katakana versions as well.

I still need to make a study resources topic. I will try to do that sometime in the near future.

Because I cannot say all this in Japanese, I'll just speak English (though maybe I should create a new topic?).

I think there should be a section similar to this. Something that would help players communicate to others in a group setting. Not really getting into conversations, but being able to understand their role in a group while being polite. Of course, we'd have to flesh out the guide a lot once the game is actually released, but we could also have multiple versions (or one big version) for each language (French, English, Japanese and German).

You mean post a bunch of phrases in every language which are commonly used in parties which may not appear in the auto-translator? That might not be a bad idea. Something like this?

English: See you my friend. Good night!
French: Voir-vous mon ami. Bonne nuit!
Japanese: Jya mata watakushi no. Oyasumi nasai! (close?)

Well, ?? (tomodachi) is "friend" in Japanese, but it would sound kind of weird to say "See you, my friend" in Japanese. Perhaps some better alternatives would be "????" (jaa ne) or "???" (mata ne), both of which mean roughly the same thing: "goodbye"/"see you"/etc. Alternatively, if it's someone you see daily, you could use "????(?)" (mata ashita (ne)) which translates to "see you tomorrow." Something such as ????? (ki o tsukete) would also be appropriate when bidding someone farewell and/or leaving a PT/group/party, which translates to something along the lines of "be careful"/"take care"/"stay safe"/etc.
