I was wondering if the BeastMaster will return?
Any ideas how they would apply it in the game?

I hope they do bring it back i havent had the opportunity to have a good go at it yet but it seems like a nice job to play.

I'm guessing that something much like BST will be in XIV. The way things are going, they'll call it something different. Maybe "Animal Whisperer" lol ;)

So far, none of the jobs we have seen in the magazines or videos is a clear cut copy of anything from XI. There is still speculation about whether the crafting and gathering jobs will be actual "jobs" this time. So far it seems really different. I still bet that someway or somehow, you will be able to tame beasts to fight for you.

I'm looking forward to more info on the jobs front!

When asked if the Summoner class will return, they said there are currently no pet classes in the game. I'm sure that we will see pet classes down the road, though.

Maybe it will be in an expansion at some point but I don't think theyre going to have it in the initial release.
