What kind of classes do you expect to see associated with the Disciples of the Land? So far all we have is "Fisherman" and "Gardener," but there will undoubtedly be a lot of others. What do you expect/hope to see included?
I think there will likely be some sort of job that allows for the gathering of materials from nature, but perhaps not.
If this discipline has any battle classes associated with it, I would like to see something such as a Druid and/or Geomancer.
How about you?

Am thinking they might add something like a miner class or logger. In FFXI you could do this things but some people avoided doing them because they felt it was not worth dying and loosing exp. So if they do have this they should make them more interesting and perhaps add special items that can only be found by mining or logging.
They could also let them use pickaxe and axes as weapons, WAR in FFXI had a throwing ability called Tomahawk which gave monsters defense down effect. If they do add something like a logger class it would not be a bad thing if they made it the only class that can throw axes or some sort of battle capabilities, so they wont be totally defenseless while in the wilderness.

I would love to see a Chocobo Handler class. Maybe to ride one, you would need to have the class, and as you upgrade it you would be able to make your Chocobo run faster, last longer, have more stamina, or even be able to raise your own like they added in FFXI.

I would lob lob lob a cooking class where you battle mobs with your pots and pans and then perpare a delicious meal for the party.
"Yum!"
"This is delicious!"
"Thank you."

(case n point) ;D

I'm liking these ideas. Hope they have similar stuff in mind and that we won't have to wait 2 years for these to get added in with expansions.

Well, a cooking class would fall under Disciples of the Hand, but...
In the Aldgoat bestiary entry on the official site, it hints at the ability to raise certain livestock. Perhaps some sort of "Farmer" or "Breeder" job will become available? I think that could be/would be a lot of fun.
Fisherman has also been confirmed, of course, as has Botanist.
It's starting to feel as this discipline won't contain anything related to battle (such as "Druid" or "Geomancer"), but I'm hoping I'm wrong.
