I saw your topic about hiring staff, and one was for a comic artist. I thought "Hey I could do that!" so I did. Although I'm going to have to improve a bit first before I start making these for the site itself. For now I'll keep making these though :D

If anyone has tips on how I can make my characters look more like people, please send them my way XD

Hehe! <3 You'll be seeing more of our little Galka hero in the future! But I will expand the cast so no worries there! Goblins are easy to draw too, so maybe you can become a main character too ;)

The tractor one...I used to tractor people as they were getting raised especially people I didn't really care for in the citadel place of champainge. (spl chk)

That Taru's a spy!

It's not a comic, but rather a test to see how well I can draw bodies. I got as far as the torso before failing at it, but I just wanted to finish it and show it off.

I've been playing a lot of Team Fortress 2 lately, and I love the Spy! I also think everything is funnier with a Taru. I know I'm a Galka fan, but they just aren't as funny. Awesome yes, but not funny. Although I think I may try a Galka as the Heavy next!

Also: Any advice on how to make the Taruspy look more like a Taru? I tried to get the ear in there, but that's really all I can do for a character who is under the mask. But I guess that's why it's a mask.

Yeah, I'd imagine drawing a Tarutaru spy is difficult. Perhaps making the torso and overall body a bit smaller would help better distinguish it/him/her as a Tarutaru? And perhaps make the eyes a bit bigger?

I think members such as Laifierr/Momotaru/etc. can probably give better advice.

I was originally going to keep the nose hidden like the real Spy's but then he just looks like the Spy.

I feel like the most distinguished feature of a Taru is their heads, and that's hidden of course. However I'm thinking that maybe if I can get a better shape for his head, then it might work better.

Anyway, if you want help on how to make him look more taruish I would suggest looking at pictures or screen shots of the game to get a better idea of their proportions. I would make the ears bigger (maybe even have a hole in the mask for the ears), make the shoulders skinnier and the waist wider.

Thats just my suggestions, try it if you think they will help.

Yeah, those are good suggestions as well.

Drawing a Tarutaru ninja may be easier than drawing a Tarutaru spy, though. Just a thought. You can still cover part of its face if you'd like. Like Kakashi, maybe (from Naruto)?
