Even though I don't understand a word of it I get a really good feel about it, the emotion is really in their voices. I loved the song they used in the trailer as well.
Looks pretty good. :D
Edit:
Here is a link to Gametrailers, just in case no one wanted to navigate through the Japanese site.

The trailer from Tokyo Game Show? Yeah, it's pretty amazing. It's the first time I actually feel somewhat excited for Final Fantasy XIII. I'm still not pumped like I am for FFXIV, but I'm finally starting to look forward to its arrival/release.

Trailer = epic. I really wish this game was launching around the world in December, I can't wait for it. I've been waiting for this game for so, so long, and the wait will finally be over in the Spring.
I didn't enjoy FFXII, but this game looks to be fantastic. From what I have seen I love the characters, story. environments and battles!

The NA site has been updated with the dubbed version of the trailer.

Wow I really love the Japanese voices. I sure wish we could net a Japanese dub with English sub version in North America but that will never happen. Oh well, the English voices are not too bad. I'm just afraid that with all the drama in this RPG were going to run into a dozen scenes with terrible acting. The subbed video above (Edit #2) had some pretty bad translation. At once point Serah says "Arigato" and the subs underneath say "I love you." Hopefully this game is incredibly long to warrant a full purchase.

Side effects may include: dry mouth, nausea, painful rectal itch, hallucination, and death.
Summoning is not for everyone. Consult your doctor before use.

I think they should have at least put the Japanese voices as on option on the PS3 version. It was definitely doable, but I guess Squenix decided to downgrade so that it would match the Xbox 360 version? I don't know the details, but that's the impression I got.
Anyway, the trailer looks great, but I'm not sure about the voice acting yet. I hope it turns out as good as FFXII's.

I would really like to play the game with Japanese voice's but I'm sure I'll be able to handle playing it with the English ones.
Here is a clip of the song from the trailer being performed live at TGS.
