On the JP FFXIII site there are FFXIII Novels. I've found English translations of them, by someone under the name of Lissar:

BEWARE that they seem to contain some spoilers. For example chapter 6 of Part 1 tells the story of how Serah became a l'Cie. Before reading that chapter I was so confused between the whole l'Cie / fal'Cie situation, but this explains it well.

I'll still continue reading the other parts later though, even if they contain some spoilers. They seem to be a good insight in to the characters.

Haha, okay. I don't know what a l'Cie is, but I assumed Serah becoming one was something you don't know immediately.
