Of the five recent Roegadyn choices recently released, which do you prefer and why? If you could mix and match any of the hairstyles and facial features to create a more ideal look, what would you do (besides change hair color)?



For the poll, the options are #1-5 from left to right.

Well, I have to say my favorite out of them all is #2. However, I like the hairstyle on #1 better, so I would take the beard from #2, and put it on the face of #2!

I don't like their face though, they look so grumpy. So I'd give him a different looking face, maybe one like this ---> :galka:

I chose #4 (again!!) though I agreewith hugbees, #1 has the best hair of the five.. i think anyway..

(I just realised, #2 has the same hair as hugbees Avatar!!)

I like #4 because of the scars and at first I didn't like the little mustache+beard combo on #4 but its grown on me whilst choosing... the Scars are awesome but I wonder if you'll be able to use several things at once like, scars and facepaint? that would be cool I think... anyway, I like #4's hair better than #3 and #5 but it looks like its some sort of mohawk with the back of the head shaved.. oh yeah... I also like the symbol on #3's forehead... could that have something to do with clans or... could you just pick from a variety or designs... hmmm...


are they all really the same face or would you be able to change the features seperately? because #4's lips look alot thinner compared to the rest of them... at first I thought it was because of the mustache, but #3 has one and his lips arnt that thin...

I like #5, but I would'nt pick a fight with any of um, lol. I do agree that they all seem very unfriendly even though it mentions that some of them have been known to be "gentle giants"

As my mule I'd pick the hairstyle of #3, remove his mustache, remove his symbol on the forehead and add the bandages from #5. Equip him with the biggest Pugilist knuckles possible and name him Heavyarms. Yep, that's my mule.

I like everything about #2 and #4: hairstyles, paint, scars, etc. I could play either one as is, actually. I'm leaning more and more towards being a Roegadyn. I can't wait to actually play around with the game's character creation/customization.

With the Female Hyur Beauty Pageant #1 thread seeing a newfound surge in popularity, I figured we should get some additional opinions about our Roegadyn brethren as well.

So many different face options now! I love the scars, bandages and such I'll go with #4 because of its Pugilist look, I'd like the hair from #1 though... it'd be nice if our skin could be slightly different hues as well

I like the first and fifth.

The mustachioed fellows are a little creepy for my tastes, and the forehead piercing is just bizarre.

My vote went to the fifth though. He looks more like a badass than number 1 who I would say is the Tidus of the bunch. ... Not that there's anything wrong with that


edit: Dalkor, I promise you we'll get slightly different shades of Roegadyns (er.. I think? Tis visibly so with every other race). Consider this a mere sampling of customization options. Well, that's precisely what it is.. a sample of what's to come. Rargh! I'm craving some new XIV info, and another character customization reveal would certainly whet the appetite!

I'd have to go with... So hard yet again... But 5 this time. Although I'm sure there will be much more options to choose from. I cannot wait to mess around in the character creator.
