Just out of curiosity, who would like to see the return of the learner of monster skills?

I have to admit that in previous FF's, I have not been too big on Blue Mage since it wasn't too appealing. But after experiencing FFXI's version of it, it actually became one of my personal favorites.

With the proper spell combinations and equipment, you can be a healer, an excellent damage dealer (with physical, breath-type and magic-type spells) or even a tank! I firmly believe it was a very balanced job, and a powerhouse on the right hands.

I like the blue mage from FF VI, I don't think they were called that, it was Magi Warriors I believe but that was the first time I saw a blue mage per say. I liked it too. Like you said, with the proper spell combinations and equipment you could make them a good healer, excellent damage dealer and then they had those cool breath effects.

Also, from FFVII, but that was from the Enemy Skill materia, I enjoyed that materia too, it was a favorite.

I haven't played FFXI but I would very much like to see this class type in FFXIV.
