Today is the 13th of January and, as promised, Square have released a new FFXIII trailer.

You can view the trailer here.

What do you think of the voice acting? And do you think the Leona track fits the game?

I know we have heard many of the voices before, and I like them. I also think Cids' voice fits him well, as well as the other two guys (Cids' friend and that older guy).

The 'My Hands' track is kind of takes over at some points (too loud) but I actually think that it all goes together quite nicely. I really don't care about the bad stuff being said about this game, I just want to try it out for myself. It's lookign stunning as ever!

I honestly think the track fits the game almost perfectly. This game has reminded me time and time again of what FFX brought to the table, and that is only good. Unfortunately, I feel I got far in FFXII, but not as far as I'd like to have, and this being the first FF on PS3 I can only but merely sound excited as I will not get to play it as much as I really want to.

No lie though, that trailer is very touching (no homo), and really gives me a feel for what to expect with these characters. Very emotion-driven, voice acting, good gameplay-- this is what you expect when you buy a FF game.

I agree - the trailer is touching. I think that's what SE were aiming towards with this game; a good, emotionally charged experience which really pulls you in to the story. That's what FFXII was missing in my opinion, and I'm all for FFXIII's format! Even if it is linear as many are saying, the story and gameplay is what matters, both of which seem amazing from what I've seen.

I was wrong as to how much I'd get to play this. I foolishly thought this was solely on the PS3, but as I watched the trailer again I saw the Xbox logo.. Woo!

FFXII felt reminiscent of FFXI, no lie, in some ways.. The only problem was that it WASN'T online- obviously.

Also, what do you mean by linear? I've yet to hear that concerning this game.

You didn't know FFXIII was going to Xbox 360? You must have stopped following this game a long time ago!

As for FFXI, I never played it, but I did hear a lot of comparisons between XI and XII.

Anyway, by linear I mean following a straight path. FFX was the same really (until you got the airship and could choose your destination).

Well i have to disagree lol, i really didnt like this song at all, japanese song is WAY better even tho i cant understand the lyrics (ive read a subbed one tho)

As for the voice acting, i think some are really good like fang and vanille but others arent as good, or at least thats what i think about what i heard from the trailer. I didnt like Serah's voice much and Snow's voice fits him but the voice act was kinda weak in some parts i think. Well maybe i need to see the trailer again but thats the impresison i got from it.

I hope the voice is as good in game as it is in the trailer, i'm not normally a fan of dubs but from what this trailer shows the sound will be great. I'm looking forward to March even more now :)

I actually really loved that trailer xD couldn't just watch it once... I thought the voice acting was pretty great for everyone... The song went good with the trailer and it was quite emotional; I liked how they focused on all the main characters and shown all there summons in battle... I also really liked the battle scene at the end, particually Hope's "Hi there" and the little chickabo's scream was cute xD

I wonder what was meant by sazh's son having a crystal~~ Or Cid's dream for that matter...

I liked that trailer a lot, makes me even more excited for 13 then I was before. The only thing I don't like is Leona Lewis or what ever her name is doing the music, I don't like her, and sticking her name in with and Final Fantasy isn't something they should do, I mean I'd rather Taylor swift doing a theme song. :D But besides that, looks good. Now all they need to do is release a demo on the PS Store.
