I believe I watched some of those as well, Eorzea. and I completely agree with you. Manh of the episodes were of cinematic quality, which was fantastic. I mean, I would have paid money to see some of them! Unfortunately it seems like many of these episodes were in the first couple of series to try and hook viewers, and then it took a huge dip. If they were to do a mini series like you say then I would hope for a return to the epicness of series 1, so that Heroes can go out in a big blaze of television masterpiece ^^

Well, I'm glad I've found a few new shows to be into then. (I don't watch much tv.) I'll only really miss watching Mr. Bennett and Sylar anyways...

I'd have to agree with the general belief that the show has gone downhill since Season 1 - that was just amazing. I remember being annoyed with Season 2's length due to the writer's strikes (I think), and found it to be somewhat dull. Season 3 gained my interest in quite a few places, and I thought the ending wasn't too bad, but some episodes leading up to the ends of Villains/Fugitives seemed to be a bit slow. As for Season 4...it was okay. Pretty slow moving, but I was intrigued by Samuel.

I'm also annoyed by the fact that the show has been cancelled. There aren't a whole lot of multi-series shows that I watch (Doctor Who, Torchwood, Heroes, Spooks, Dexter - pretty much all of them in a nutshell), and I was looking forward to the wrap-up. A mini-series wouldn't be bad for doing that, but because of the level of plot/character development in some of the series, it may be a bit difficult tying up all loose ends.

I have heard some rumors of a 4 episode mini series (or short tv movie) to wrap up Heroes at my comic shop. I don't know if it is true yet. It could all just be talk from the internet. I have not seen the 3rd and 4th season yet, but I was also sadden to hear it was being canceled. But a short wrap up mini series would be nice and I will hope for that. :)

Well NBC say's they're not sure about a Season 5, but Greg Grunberg say's there will definitely another season. Plus, the last episode of season four was a cliff hanger. They never ended it.

I still think there's gonna be a season five. I guess I'm in denial :P I just can't stand the fact that networks end shows without concluding them. It's the same thing they did with Sliders. They end it with a cliff hanger so you're just left sitting there like an idiot.

Yes, I understand your frustration. I'm also hoping for some sort of release to help wrap things up. I doubt we'll get a full season 5 (unless NBC sells the rights to the show to another network), but even a miniseries would be great.
