2010 Winter Olympics

I'm actually not such a big fan of the Olympics, but that's beside the point.
I was a bit disappointed that Sasha Cohen wasn't able to make the cut and have one more shot at gold after her disappointing silver medal finish four years ago. She almost certainly wouldn't have won anyway, but it would have been nice to see her given the opportunity.

On a brighter note, I love that Apolo Anton Ohno managed to get a silver medal in the 1,500m (speedskating). He's pretty easy to cheer for.

This is only the second time America hasn't left with a medal in this event since 1952.
I haven't seen their final skates yet, but I plan to watch them later on tonight.

ahhhh this sucks the 1 event I was looking forward to was the womens figure skating and it sounds like i've missed it, maybe they will have high lights of it on tonight for the UK..

Canada defeated USA for hockey gold in OT (3-2) to wrap things up.
Everything sure seemed to come and go rather quickly. I can't believe it's already over.
