Welcome Dalkor!

Pugilists are looking cooler and cooler the more we see of them!
.. and we've seen a lot of them

Here..

and here..

and even Beastmen Pugilists!

Well, I might as well say it now.. That weapon looks entirely ineffective, and extremely difficult to use. I'm speaking mostly of the one in the shot with the female pugilist.. Just seems like you'd break your wrist before doing any damage to a foe, or your grip wouldn't be strong enough to support those heavy as hell hulk hands and you couldn't keep the weapon straight. :msnpucker:

I do think it's cool though.. I guess it's just this natural wariness I get just by looking at it, as if, "oh man, this is never going to work". It's a biologically hardwired automatic response from my brain that assumes some knowledge of basic laws of physics.. So, you'd never try to hammer a nail with a balloon, right?

Anyway, I'm curious to see how pugilists will animate.

Hello, Dalkor! :msnwave: I'm glad you have enjoyed reading our posts and decided to join us. The more the merrier!

:onion68:

I also think Pugilists look like a lot of fun.

Did you play Final Fantasy XI? If so, what server/race/job(s)?

Please enjoy yourself and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

I played FF XI on two seperate accounts, one had a Galka Dragoon named Dalkor on Shiva, got him to lvl 68 before quitting and I then played a Galka monk on a different account on Lakshmi, got him to lvl 41 or something.
and @ Momo I agree about the weapons, they seem a little TOO far away from your hands.... like if you punch something with em they would just turn around your grip haha :onion35:
