Well in 3 hours (GMT) the clock will strike midnight. But not just ANY midnight. The date will be 9th March, 2010...meaning the official launch day of FFXIII will be upon us!!!

Who plans on getting the game day 1?

I certainly do, and I can't wait to play it! It's been a long, long wait; about 4 years now. I really can't believe that I'm actually going to be playing it tomorrow! Everything about it looks stunning, from the graphics to the battle system. There has been a lot of bad press about the game, but that's not going to stop me from buying this.

FFXIII is my most anticipated game of this generation, fact.

EDIT: Wow, I'm sure that this would get a lot more hits if this read "FFXIV is HERE!"

I bet you're excited, FR8TRAIN! It's midnight here now in the UK I'm sure there are probably midnight launches going on in some places here, but I'm not going to one. I'll probably have mu hands on a copy in less than 15 hours, though! (Have college in the morning, so will have to buy it in the afternoon). Haha, the hype here for FFXIV is going to be off the charts!

I might try and sneak on it if I'm left alone long enough xD with peope there... I would rather not play it because they are the type that would run it with constant "I'm bored" or "whats, happening... you're just running around"

Well either way, lets hope tha since FFXIII is almost out of the way.. FFXIV news will soon be upon us!

Let me know what its like also guys, i'm still on white knight chronicles at the moment so i'm not getting FFXIII at the moment.

But from what i've seen its going to be uber and I can't wait to get it!!

I am loving it so far! The battle system is smooth and simple. I am 3 hours in to it and I haven't unlocked any of the paradagims and roles yet, so I'm sure it will be even more fun then! I look forward to getting the summons further on in the game

I'm only a couple hours in, and loving every second of it. Sad I have to go back to work. I'd play all day if I could.

Ahh, I played FFXIII for 10 hours today! /no life xD

I am loving this game so much! The battle system works really well. Momo is right about the hand holding. I am 13 hours in now and there have still been battle tutorials etc. The tutorials fit with the character progression, so they are spread out. I've also got 2 of the 6 summons now. The battles to get them are sooo hard!

I love all the characters, and how they all have a fully developed background, unlike FFXII.

Hmm, I need to sleep now! But once college finishes tomorrow...back to the game!

I'm getting farther in it too, it's really fun to play, I have a feeling it will be getting amazing farther into the game too. The game is beautiful as well. And the story so far, superb, can feel the tension that's for sure. Although I'm nowhere close to even 10 hours into it, but I can tell it's going to be a good game.

It's great to hear some positive reviews! I was under the impression that this game was going to be a colossal disappointment for many people, but I'm happy that doesn't seem to be the case.

ohhh its really good thankyou, i'm getting hooked up to the net this weekend so i'll be able to go online and battle bosses with people just so I can get awards for better stuff...

I'm going to convince you to get FFXIII it looks amazing and those summons are uber...i'm going to get it once i'm done with WKC...i'd get it now but i'd be wasting my money...I own 5 FF's games and never completed any of them as I have the attention span of a gold fish and then something more colourful catches my eye.... its a flaw of mine

hehehe...hope when you do get the game you have tons of fun on it
