so whats the deal with the magic classes the official site (it updated it FINALLY UPDATED!) both in their arms section shows them able to use a staff or scepter ?
Stuck with ONE weapon? (oh no!)

Actually it shows that conjurers have wands and radicals, and thaumaturge has scepters and staffs.

i didnt notice the name diffrence but it still is interesting that they have two diffrent weapons maybe they diffrent bonuses like a wand is better for damage spells and radical is better for healing.
also its interesting that the conjurer weapons are wood and the thaumaturge is metal.

Well the conjurer is described as being one with the elements, metal is not really "of the elements" in the way that wood is. And i'm willing to bet that you are right about the use of one over the other, use a wand and do mega awesome fireball, use a radical and you give everyone in your party curaga VI. (exaggerations are fun)
