The site used to have their tool listed, an Alembic. However, they removed it with the latest site update, which I thought was kind of odd...

Seems like it'll be the standard "uses x number of tea leaves to make x number of weak healing potions." This is by no means a bad thing - I'm usually an alchemist in MMO's. I find it very useful to be able to make my own potions and not have to buy them from other players. It's also cool to be able to provide extras to group members and the guild bank.

I read somewhere that in the game players will be able to dye clothes different colors. Knowing Square its probably a set number of colors. But anyways, I wonder if alchemists will be the ones to make the dyes from ingredients and sell the dyes to weavers and possibly leatherworkers.

I'm definitely going to be an alchemist. First time ever really having the desire to do so. Being able to make all sorts of potions will be fun. Making good money from it is also cool too lol. Can't wait to get to the point where I can make a potion that gives me the flee effect. I hope they'll have something like that in here. Also going to have to be a botanist, getting herbs does sound fun. But, what I'm really looking forward to is chopping the trees. Had a blast logging back in ffxi days. Especially during the times logging would get popular all of a sudden. Ten people competitively logging in a small area, total blast.

You're pretty much spot on with this. Nice job. ;)
