What is yours?

My overall favorite food of all time that I would eat regardless just happens to be Japanese, which is sushi.

I eat rice with chicken/beef/fish/egg all the time but I'm a little worried that I'm never going to like sushi.

It's cute, attractive, easy to pick up with chopsticks, etc.. But I'm not into the raw fish taste >.<

Since I live in an area with virtually no Japanese people, I don't think I've ever had a true taste of real Japanese food.. Maybe eating the real deal sushi will change my mind.

But you're choices sure look good.. Actually, I could handle the guy on the bottom.. He's not really a sushi.

Yeah, eel and tuna aren't bad at all. I'm not such a huge fan of sushi myself, but these two I can handle. You should give them a try, Momotaru (if you haven't already).

My favorite Japanese foods are...

sukiyaki [LINK] - an absolute favorite. Delicious!
yakitori - grilled meat and vegetables on a stick.
tonkotsu ramen - best ramen in Japan!
udon / soba / soumen - different kinds of noodle dishes.
curry rice - not Japanese, but their style of curry is thicker and absolutely wonderful!
yakiniku (especially karubi) - again, not Japanese, but Japan does it best! [LINK]
gyuutojidon - beef, onion and egg on rice.

There are more, I'm sure, but that's what I thought of off the top of my head.

I can just hear it!

I like hibachi food and pretty much all sushi except for sea urchin and octopus and the chewy white fish (forgot what it is called)

Also, that soup that Naruto is always chowing on looks delicious!

Japanese curry rice, okonomiyaki (it's like Japanese pizza but way healthier) and sushi, naturally ^_^

1) GYOZA!!! - basically Japanese pot stickers
