Yeah, they had that in FFXI too. Sometimes it can be useful to look around in first person, like on a boat or airship. I'm not sure how often we'll be frequenting those in XIV but it can have its uses.

.... I'm... approaching my limit.. I can only handle so much more... I went ahead and looked at that creature list for a few seconds, which excited me greatly.... but I really can't handle anymore than this. :onion73:

The third round of beta was canceled, so we will have to wait until next week for more. :unsure:

Guns :)

It just seems like the marauder should make use of them. Look at there clothes, they look like pirates(marauders).

Plus if you look at the NPCs in the background...they are all wearing axes.

Also if you look at the PC on the far right. The one who has not switched to his ranged weapon. He has an axe as well.

I vote Marauder!

Heh, I think the pirate look is more because they're in a pirate infested city-state than because they're Marauders.

In any case, with the whole "change your weapon to change your class" Armoury system, it wouldn't make a lot of sense for Marauders to specialize in guns. We will likely be getting the Muskateer as a gunner class.

I'm very happy to see the crafting system is robust and has more to it then cramming things together with a crystal with percentages weighing in on success. ;P Currently this reminds me of Vanguard with simpler animations, not a bad thing at all as one of my favorite things in Vanguard was the awesome crafting along with the diplomacy card game.

Sooooo would die if there's a Tetra type card game within FF14.. Sorry off topic and dreaming aloud. ^_^;;

Is it just me or are people not sequencing? I mean the player seemed to actually wait before hitting buttons, usually with a timer you click the button before the first action is done so that the next one can chain. That's what I do in AoC, I don't wait until I'm done hitting the mob before readying the next action...

That combined with lag might be why it seems so slow. Can't wait to see the refined combat though.
