Let's start with the magazines. Both Dengeki PlayStation and Famitsu Connect! On have new issues on the shelves here in Japan, both of which only feature four pages of information and speculation. Unfortunately, most of the information can already be found in our recent news articles.

For fun, however, let's take a look at a couple of the polls found in Famitsu Connect! On (Vol. 42)!


FAMITSU CONNECT! ON

Here are the most popular Races amongst its Japanese readers as of now:

• Elezen, Male: 9%
  
• Elezen, Female: 6%
  
• Lalafell, Male: 28%
  
• Lalafell, Female: 13%
  
• Hyur, Male: 13%
  
• Hyur, Female: 3%
  
• Roegadyn: 6%
  
• Miqo'te: 22%

To summarize, it seems we will once again be seeing a lot of Lalafell running around and few Roegadyn.
Is that really a surprise?
The least popular choice of all is currently the female Hyur, however, with only 3% of the vote!



And with that, let's take a look at the most popular Clans amongst its Japanese readers as of now:

• Wildwood Elezen: 5%
  
• Duskwight Elezen: 8%
  
• Plainsfolk: 18%
  
• Dunesfolk: 15%
  
• Midlanders: 10%
  
• Highlanders: 13%
  
• Sea Wolves: 3%
  
• Hellsguard: 5%
  
• Seekers of the Sun: 3%
  
• Keepers of the Moon: 20%

Both choices for each race seem to be relatively close in popularity with the exception of the "Seekers of the Sun" clan. Will we see it rise in popularity as the game gets closer to release?

Remember when we edited the Morbol in this thread? Now it's time to edit the Ahriman! It doesn't have to be anything wonderful or epic, either. Just have fun with it! Something like this, for example:

I'm going to assume Female Hyur are so low because of Highlanders only being male, Hyur just have less females to choose from.

Of course, Roegadyn is near dead last. But hey, it just makes me that more more unique

I'm sort of surprised. I guess I expected Hyur to be the abundant race, as it always seems to be in these sorts of games (from my limited experience)

.. But maybe those who select Hyur or Hume are not the hardcore people participating in betas and statistics polls, but those with a more casual interest who might pick up the game when it finally does come out.. Just not sure.

I'm shocked about the so few Seekers of the Sun. I really thought that they would be either tied or really close. Not so one sided.

Yes, that surprised me as well. Though I suppose this is only one magazine's polling percentage, so it's really just for fun at this point; I'm sure the numbers will continue to change both as the game approaches and after its release.
